Red Wings Development Camp: Working Together On And Off The Ice
The Detroit Red Wings continue their annual Prospect Development Camp in Traverse City.
Coaches and front office staff are getting valuable time on the ice working with their future players to develop their skills.
Off the ice, they are dedicating time to develop the players in different ways.
Coaches say they are finding value in giving the players important information for their health and well-being.
The head coach of the Grand Rapids Griffins, Todd Nelson, says, “Conditioning, nutrition, social media. All of these things come into play, and so we’re trying to educate this group so that they’ll be successful.”
The development camp continues at Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City until Tuesday.
