Beach Bums Lose in Extras to Boomers

TRAVERSE CITY – The Beach Bums started the second half of the season with a 5-3 loss to the Boomers in the 10th inning at home.

Ryan O’Malley hit a single in the top of the 10th, allowing David Harris and Josh Gardiner to score. Kendall Patrick had an RBI double in the sixth inning to tie the ballgame at three.

The Beach Bums continue their home series with the Boomers Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.
