TC West wins second straight district title

TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City West wrestling program cruised to a pair of victories en route to earning its second consecutive Division 1 district championship on Wednesday.

The Titans opened with an 82-0 shutout of Big North Conference foe Alpena before posting a 60-15 win over rival Traverse City Central in the final.

West now advances to a Division 1 regional at Davison next Wednesday.
