CHARLEVOIX – The Charlevoix baseball team hosted Rudyard in a non-league doubleheader on Monday.
The Rayders (2-1-1) opened with a 10-0 win and settled for a 4-4 tie in the nightcap.
In the opener, Charlevoix’s Garrett Seese struck out four over four innings on the mound, aiding his cause by going 2-for-3 at the plate with an RBI and three stolen bases.
Jordan Adkins also went 2-for-2 with a pair of runs batted in.
Christian Mayte fanned four over five innings of work in the nightcap and went 2-for-3 at the plate.
Jake Segar also was 2-for-3 with an RBI.
