Elk Rapids Caps off Undefeated Season with Shutout of Grayling

GRAYLING – The second-ranked Elk Rapids girls soccer program capped off its first undefeated regular season with an 8-0 Lake Michigan Conference win over Grayling on Thursday.

Carley Patterson led the Elks (18-0, 12-0 LMC) with three goals, while Nicole Hill tallied a pair of goals and an assist and Nicole Hayes chipped in with three assists.

"We just wanted to come and play hard to every game,” Hill said. “I think what makes us really successful is if another team scores on us we come back with two more right away. We don’t put our heads down, which is really cool to see."
