TRAVERSE CITY – The Traverse City Central girls soccer team earned a 2-2 tie in non-league action against visiting Saginaw Heritage on Friday.
With the Central trailing 1-0 early in the opening half, Jennifer Rose took a pass from Abby Puckett to knot the game at a goal apiece.
Central’s Anna Wuerfel then gave the Trojans a 2-1 lead early in the second before Heritage responded with the equalizer.
The Trojans (5-4-5) return to action Tuesday, hosting Cadillac.
