TC West Edges TC Central for District Championship

TRAVERSE CITY – Traverse City West won a Division 1 baseball district championship via a 5-4 win over rival Traverse City Central on Friday.

The Titans advanced to the district title game with a 6-2 win over Alpena, while the Trojans held on for a 3-2 win over Marquette.

West will now play in a regional semifinal at Saginaw Valley State next Saturday.
