Farwell Optimistic in 2016

FARWELL – The Farwell football program enters its third year under coach Ben Bryant, seeking its first winning season since 2010.

The Eagles have combined to win just six games over the last four seasons, including a 1-8 mark in 2015, but are optimistic this fall.

“This is our third year with this new offense, where I’m very comfortable with it now,” senior Alex Dailey said. “We’re still adding new things, we’re making it better. This is Coach Bryant’s third year as well, so we’re kind of growing and progressing with each other."

"Everybody came out here to work. Everybody feels excited and they’re ready to play,” added sophomore Jay Thrush. “A lot of people do stuff in the offseason, getting prepared for the first couple days and everybody seems like they’re getting along fine."

Farwell opens its season with a pair of non-league home games, hosting Coleman on Aug. 26 and Ludington on Sept. 1.
