TC West Dominates Central for Fifth Straight Win

TRAVERSE CITY – Riding a four-game win streak, the Traverse City West boys soccer team posted its fourth consecutive victory over rival Central in dominating fashion, winning 7-2 at Coast Guard Field on Thursday.

Senior Dalton Michael opened the scoring eight minutes in for the Titans (8-1-1, 3-0-0) on the first of his three goals.

Central’s Sam Huver would respond midway through the first half before West retook control of the game on goals from Adam Hunt and Cobe Lund, as the Titans held a 3-1 lead at the break.

Hunt, Lund, Donovan Michael and Ethan Vandermolen all joined Dalton Michael in the scoring column for West, while Huver and Wiley Fraser scored for Central.

West returns to the pitch next Tuesday, hosting Gaylord, while Central visits Petoskey.
