Buckley Sprints Past Penwater, Moves to District Semis

BUCKLEY – The Buckley boys soccer team advanced to a Division 4 district semifinal via a 4-1 win over Pentwater on Monday.

Holding a 2-0 lead at the half, Buckley’s Austin Harris and Brock Beeman gave the Bears a 4-0 lead with goals in the 60th minute.

Phillip Stone scored Pentwater’s lone goal.

The Bears will face Big Rapids Crossroads at McBain Northern Michigan Christian on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
