Coaches’ Profile: Mackinac Island’s Jennifer Schrader

MACKINAC ISLAND – Few schools in Michigan are as unique as Mackinac Island High School.

One of the smallest schools in the state, Mackinac Island sponsors basketball, golf, track, volleyball and soccer. And being an island school, the Lakers travel by water and air to reach games.

The Lakers compete in the Northern Lights League and are joined by other small schools, like Beaver Island, Maplewood Baptist, Ojibwe Charter and Paradise Whitefish.

Volleyball coach Jennifer Schrader is the subject of our latest MISportsNow Coaches’ Profile.
