Gladwin Shuts Out Roscommon, Wins NMSL Title

CLARE – The 11th-ranked Gladwin boys soccer team captured the Northern Michigan Soccer League championship with a 1-0 win over Roscommon on Wednesday.

Scoreless after the opening half, Gladwin’s Devin Boylen found the back of the net off of a corner kick with 16 minutes remaining in regulation.

Gladwin (20-1) opens Division 3 district play on Monday, hosting Pinconning, while Roscommon (17-2-1) hosts Fairview in Division 4 action.
