Pine River Edges Morley Stanwood in MISportsNow Fans’ Choice Game

LEROY – Pine River won its first district championship since 2014 and second in school history with a 14-7 victory over Morley Stanwood in a Division 6 final on Friday.

The Mohawks (7-4) led 7-6 after the opening half.

Pine River (8-3) will take on either Kent City (8-2) or Ravenna (8-2) next week in a regional final.
