SAULT STE. MARIE – The Sault Ste. Marie hockey team improved to 3-0 on the young season with an 8-0 win over visiting Cheboygan on Tuesday.

The Blue Devils held a 1-0 lead after the opening period.

Brendan Krause scored a hat trick for Sault Ste. Marie.

Cheboygan (2-1) returns to the ice next Wednesday at Cadillac, while Sault Ste. Marie hosts Romeo next Friday.
