St. Igance Bests Newberry for District Title

ST. IGNACE – Third-ranked St. Ignace won a Division 8 district championship behind a 26-6 win over Newberry on Friday.

The Saints (10-1) led 20-0 at the half.

St. Ignace will face either Norway or Lake Linden-Hubbell in a regional final next week, while Newberry ends the year at 8-3.
