SAULT STE. MARIE – The Lake Superior State hockey team dropped its eighth game of the season in a 5-2 loss to Bowling Green State on Saturday at home.
The two teams were tied at two heading into the third period, but the Falcons scored three unanswered goals to pick up the win and split the weekend series.
The Lakers fall to 8-8 overall and 5-7 in league play. They will travel to Bemidji State next week.
