BOYNE CITY – Behind 13 points from Kathie Hoth and Haley Fogo, the Boyne City girls basketball team earned its first win with a 61-47 victory over Johannesburg-Lewiston on Wednesday.
The Ramblers held a 16-11 lead after the opening quarter but trailed 28-27 at the break.
Taylor Kroll led the Cardinals (0-3) with 19 points.
Johannesburg-Lewiston hosts Mancelona Friday, while Boyne City visits Grayling Tuesday.
