MT. PLEASANT – The Mt. Pleasant Sacred Heart girls basketball team closed out the 2016 portion of its schedule with a 62-17 win over neighboring rival Beal City on Monday.
The Irish (5-0) held a 16-2 edge after the opening quarter and took a commanding 29-8 lead at the half.
Sacred Heart returns to the court on Tuesday, Jan. 3, hosting Clare, while the Aggies (1-5) travel to Montabella.
