Mt. Pleasant Secures OT Win over Cadillac
CADILLAC – The Mt. Pleasant hockey team erased a late deficit to earn a 6-5 non-conference win in overtime against Cadillac on Tuesday.
Trailing 2-1 after the opening period, the Oilers received goals from Isaac Angera and Mason Pinwar in the second to take a 3-2 lead before the Vikings posted back-to-back goals for a 4-3 edge after two periods.
Kaleb Ramon would score the tying goal with 1:03 remaining in regulation on an assist from Angera.
Ramon and Angera finished with a goal and an assist apiece, while Pinwar, Kyle Trucks and Jacob Higbie had a goal apiece in regulation.
Cadillac (6-4) is back on the ice Wednesday, Jan. 4, hosting Traverse City West, while Mt. Pleasant (6-4) visits Midland.
