Bay Reps Shut Out Manistee in NMHL Tournament

HARBOR SPRINGS – The Bay Area Reps opened the Northern Michigan Hockey League tournament with an 8-0 win over Manistee on Friday.

The defending league champions ended the game in the second period with four goals.

Scotty Crawford and Jackson Ellis tallied two goals apiece, while Duke Angers, Jake Stevenson, Gavin Duffing and Garrett Goggin all scored for the Bay Reps (11-12).

Kam Lannen earned the shutout in net.

The Bay Reps will face either Petoskey or Cheboygan for the NMHL championship Saturday at 2:30 p.m.
