Ferris Men’s Basketball clinches GLIAC regular season title

The Ferris State men’s basketball team defeated Michigan Tech 81-76 on Saturday to lay claim the #1 overall seed in the upcoming GLIAC Tournament.  It’s the Bulldogs’ first regular season conference championship since 2012.

Quentin Ruff led the Bulldogs with 20 points.  Drew Cushingberry added 15 points, and Zach Hankins chipped in with 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Huskies were led by Bryan Heath and Kyle Monroe, with 22 points each.

The Bulldogs close out the regular season at home against Grand Valley State on Thursday, and will wait to see who they’ll face in the Quarterfinal Round of the GLIAC Tournament on Tuesday, February 28th.
