Lions Draft Davis in 1st Round
The Detroit Lions selected Florida linebacker Jarrad Davis with the 21st overall pick in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft on Thursday.
At 6-1, 238 pounds, Davis was a finalist for the 2016 Butkus Award and a semifinalist for the Chuck Bednarik Award. Davis ended his four-year career with the Gators by tallying 201 total tackles (106, 95 assist), 20 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, one interception and two forced fumbles.
