Lions Sign Former CMU LB Bellore

The Detroit Lions have signed unrestricted free agent and former Central Michigan linebacker Nick Bellore.

An undrafted rookie free agent, Bellore signed with the New York Jets in 2011 and spent four seasons in New York before inking a two-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers in 2015. Last season, Bellore appeared in 14 games for the 49ers, making 10 starts and tallying 83 tackles, one sack, an interception and five pass deflections.

In 94 career games, Bellore has recorded 161 tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble and three fumble recoveries.

Terms of his contract have not been disclosed.
