Northern Michigan Athletes to Play in Addix All-Star Game
Eleven northern Michigan athletes from six schools have been named to the 2017 Addix All-Star Game roster.
The second annual Grand Rapids-based high school football all-star game is set for June 9 at Davenport University. The game pits Team Stars against Team Stripes and is sponsored by Lowell-based Addix, a supplier of youth and high school sports gear and uniforms.
Below is a listing of area athletes that will compete in June.
Team Stripes
Running Backs: Marco Alarez (Grant), Avery Montgomery (Big Rapids)
Defensive Linemen: Ian Francisco (Grant), Jon Hawley (Chippewa Hills)
Linebackers: James Smith (Lakeview), Bo Studley (Central Montcalm)
Kickers: David Larson (Lakeview)
Athletes at large: Rylee Schultz (Grant)

Tight Ends: Kyle Lowery (Grant)
