Western Michigan’s Davis Drafted by Titans in 1st Round

Western Michigan senior wide receiver Corey Davis became the first Bronco to be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft since 2004 on Thursday, as Davis was selected fifth overall by the Tennessee Titans.

A 2016 First Team All-American and the NCAA Football Subdivision’s career receiving leader (5,278 yards), Davis was named the MAC Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 and was a three-time First Team All-MAC selection.

Davis is only the second Bronco to be drafted in the first round, joining former defensive end Jason Babin, who was taken by the Houston Texans with the 27th overall pick in the 2004 draft.
