Thunder Squirrels Push Past Petoskey

TRAVERSE CITY – Behind four goals from Cam Case, the Traverse City Central Thunder Squirrels registered a 10-7 win over Petoskey in a Northern Michigan Lacrosse Conference contest on Tuesday.

Petoskey (6-5, 4-3) led 3-2 after the opening quarter but trailed 4-3 at the half.

The Thunder Squirrels (5-4, 4-2) then increased their lead to 9-5 after three quarters.

Daniel Chang, Landon Case, Josh Bonifacio, Ryan Grombala, Ranger Trucco and Owen Porter all scored for Central.

Nicholas Snider led Petoskey with three goals, while Daniel Sysko tallied two. Jason Wixson and Noah Doe-Nimphie chipped in with a goal apiece.

The Thunder Squirrels are back in action Thursday, hosting Cadillac, while Petoskey welcomes in the Traverse City West Bay Hawks.
