Ferris State Volleyball Picked First in GLIAC Preseason Poll

BIG RAPIDS – The three-time defending Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference champion Ferris State volleyball program has been picked to repeat as league champion.

The Bulldogs received 121 points and 11 first-place votes in Thursday’s preseason poll and were selected to win the GLIAC North Division. Ashland received 98 points and was picked atop the South Division.

Ferris State opens its season with its Ferris State Invitational on Friday, Sept. 1. The Bulldogs will open the two-day tournament with Missouri Western State.
