Inland Lakes Rallies to Upset St. Ignace

INDIAN RIVER – A year after going 0-9, the Inland Lakes football program rallied for a 27-20 win over Northern Michigan Football Legacy foe St. Ignace on Thursday.

The Saints (0-1, 0-1) led 8-6 after the first quarter and held a 14-6 edge at the half.

Thursday’s loss was the first conference loss for St. Ignace since losing to Newberry in 2009.

Inland Lakes (1-0, 1-0) travels to Rogers City next Thursday, while St. Ignace hosts St. Ignace next Saturday.
