Elk Rapids, Kalkaska Play to Draw in LMC Action

KALKASKA – The Kalkaska boys soccer team earned a 1-1 tie against visiting Elk Rapids in Lake Michigan Conference action on Tuesday.

The Elks held a 1-0 lead at the half.

Brendon Lajewski scored the equalizer midway through the second half, with Kyle McDowell credited with the assist.

Kendel Hall recorded 15 saves in net for the Blazers (6-9-3, 1-2-3).

Kalkaska is back on the pitch Thursday at Grayling, while Elk Rapids hosts Charlevoix.
