Kingsley’s Boyajian, Brumfield Sign NLIs

Kingsley seniors Lindsey Boyajian and Jalynn Brumfield recently signed National Letters of Intent.

KINGSLEY – Kingsley senior student-athletes Lindsey Boyajian and Jalynn Brumfield recently signed National Letters of Intent to continue their basketball careers at the collegiate level.

A three-year letterwinner, Brumfield will travel south to Big Rapids and attend Ferris State. Brumfield earned First Team All-Big North Conference honors in 2015-16 and was a 2017 First Team All-Northwest Conference selection in softball.

“Jalynn is a strong, athletic kid that has versatility to play multiple positions on the floor and is capable of being a game-changing player,” coach Matt Schelich said.

Brumfield plans to study criminal justice.

A former First Team All-Northwest Conference and All-State Honorable Mention selection, Boyajian will attend NCAA Division III Lakeland (Wis.) University.

“Lindsey is a very tough kid who has overcome two knee surgeries and is still able to be an impact player for us,” Schelich said.

Boyajian is excited for the academic offerings at Lakeland.
