Suttons Bay’s Hursey Signs with Ferris State

SUTTONS BAY – Suttons Bay senior student-athlete Thomas Hursey recently signed his National Letter of Intent to continue his golf and academic career at Ferris State next fall.

A member of the school’s golf and boys basketball teams, Hursey was awarded Division 4 All-State team honors by the Michigan Interscholastic Golf Coaches Association in 2017 and was an All-State honorable mention in 2016. Hursey helped lead the Norsemen to the 2015 MHSAA Division 4 state championship as a freshman.

He joins a Ferris State program that finished seventh at the 2017 NCAA Division II Championships.
