CMU Football Heading to Famous Potato Bowl

MT. PLEASANT – The Central Michigan University Football Program will play in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl on December 22nd.

The 8-4 Chippewas face the 7-5 Wyoming Cowboys.

Going into this game, Central is 2nd in the MAC West, and Wyoming is 2nd in the Mountain West.

“We’re really excited about the opportunity to play a Mountain West opponent. I’ve heard nothing but great things about this bowl game and the people out there that run it,” says Head Coach John Bonamego.

“We’re extremely happy to be playing in a bowl game, regardless of where it was going to be. It’s just another opportunity to get better,” says Senior Quarterback Shane Morris.

Kickoff is at 4 pm.
