CMU’s Ostman Selected to East-West Shrine Game

MT. PLEASANT – Central Michigan senior and St. Ignace graduate Joe Ostman has accepted a bid to play in the East-West Shrine All-Star Game in January.

A three-time All-Mid-American Conference honoree, Ostman ranks third nationally with 12 sacks and is second all-time in program history with 26 career sacks. Ostman currently leads the country with 1.20 sacks per game.

First played in 1925, the East-West Shrine game is one of the most prestigious college football all-star contests. The game is set for Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018, at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla.
