DiLeo, Roundtree Lead CMU Past Jackson State

MT. PLEASANT – David DiLeo scored a game-high 19 points and the Central Michigan men’s basketball team improved to 6-1 with a 70-63 win over Jackson State at McGuirk Arena on Friday.

The Chippewas took a 37-28 lead to the locker room.

Shawn Roundtree and Cecil Williams joined DiLeo in double figures with 16 and 11 points, respectively.

CMU shot 52.3 percent (23-of-44) from the floor and outrebounded Jackson State 32-31.

Paris Collins paced Jackson State with 19 points.

CMU returns to its home court Tuesday, hosting Montana State at 7 p.m.
