Sault Ste. Marie Hockey Drops Game Against Third-Ranked Plymouth

SAULT STE. MARIE- The Blue Devils lost 3-0 in an afternoon game to Plymouth on Saturday.

Sault Ste. Marie welcomed the third-ranked Wildcats to their ice and appeared to take the lead early on in the first period, but the goal was waved off when it was determined that it never crossed the goal line.

The score was knotted at zero after one, but Jack VanDenbeugery struck for the Wildcats after connecting on a goal over the right shoulder of goaltender Jack Pattison. Plymouth added two more goals to their lead in the third period to seal this victory, and snap the Blue Devils’ four game winning streak.

Sault Ste. Marie is back in action when the travel to Escanaba on Tuesday. Puck drop is at 7:00.
