Traverse City’s Max Bullough Signs with Cleveland Browns

Traverse City native and former Michigan State linebacker Max Bullough has signed a reserve/future contract with the Cleveland Browns.

Bullough is one of six to sign reserve/future contracts with the Browns.

A Traverse City St. Francis graduate, Bullough signed as an undrafted free agent with the Houston Texans in 2014. In three seasons with the Texans (2014-16), Bullough recorded 35 tackles and three tackles for loss over 30 games (four starts). Bullough was suspended for the first four games of the 2017 season after violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances. He was released by the Texans last June.

Bullough was a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection at Michigan State, leading the Spartans to Big Ten championships in 2010 and 2013.
