Cadillac Ices Mt. Pleasant in Overtime

CADILLAC – The Cadillac hockey team opened its postseason with a 3-2 overtime win over Mt. Pleasant in  a Division 3 pre-regional on Tuesday.

Christian Elmore-Turner’s goal midway through the first period gave the Oilers a 1-0 lead after one.

David Carpenter’s goal in the second knotted the game a 1-1.

Cadillac (9-16-1) will now take on Big Rapids (14-10-1) in the pre-regional final on Thursday. Big Rapids handed the Mid-Michigan Storm an 8-2 loss on Tuesday.

Mt. Pleasant ends its season at 4-21-1.
