Petoskey Boys, Girls Claim D2 Regional Titles

HARBOR SPRINGS – The Petoskey boys and girls ski programs claimed MHSAA Division 2 regional titles Monday at Nub’s Nob.
The seven-time defending state champion boys team recorded 52 points, while the girls team finished in first with 85.
The Harbor Springs boys finished in second while the girls came home in third. The Great North Alpine boys program also finished in third. The top three teams qualify for the state finals.
Gaylord’s Reagan Ollie stole the show on the girls side, claiming both the giant slalom (52.73) and slalom (1:16.27).
On the boys side, Great North Alpine’s Finn Husband won the giant slalom (51,94), while Petoskey’s Ethan Siegwart took home the top spot in the slalom (1:07.97).
