Red Wings Trade Mrazek to Flyers

Petr Mrazek went 72-58-20 in six seasons with Detroit.

With just one week remaining before the NHL trade deadline, the Detroit Red Wings traded goalie Petr Mrazek to the Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.

Detroit sends Mrazek, 26, to Philadelphia in exchange for a conditional fourth-round draft pick in 2018 and a conditional third-round pick in 2019.

After making his NHL debut with the Red Wings during the 2012-13 season, Mrazek went 72-58-20 with a 2.60 goals against average and a .912 save percentage in 166 games over six seasons.

In 22 appearances this season, Mrazek was 8-7-3 with a 2.89 GAA and a .910 save percentage.

A 2010 fifth-round draft pick by Detroit, Mrazek was in the final year of his $4 million contract.
