Coaches’ Profile: Cadillac’s Fred Bryant

CADILLAC – As the winter weather continues to impact the spring high school sports season throughout the state, athletic directors are earning their pay.

Fred Bryant is in his first year as athletic director at Cadillac High School. A 1991 Engadine graduate and Northern Michigan University alum, Bryant began his tenure at Newberry in 2004, serving as a physical education and health teacher as all as a stint as the school’s athletic director. He later coached Newberry’s varsity football and girls basketball programs to great success.

Bryant shares with us the issues that he and other athletic directors are facing this spring as the subject of our latest MISportsNow Coaches’ Profile.
