Five Former Chippewas Sign to NFL Teams as Free Agents
DALLAS, TX – St. Ignace native and former Central Michigan University Chippewa Joe Ostman signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as a free agent Saturday.
Ostman was a stand out athlete at St. Ignace, and also took Mt. Pleasant by storm as the only true freshman to start in 2013.
Joining Ostman in the NFL as free agents are four of his former teammates.
Amari Coleman signed to the Detroit Lions.
Corey Willis joins the Arizona Cardinals.
JP Quinn signed to the Indianapolis Colts.
Joseph Austin is headed to the Atlanta Falcons.
Central Michigan Football finished the 2017 season 6-2 in MAC play.
