Reed City’s Libey Signs with Grace Bible
REED CITY – Reed City senior Emily Libey signed her National Letter of Intent with the Grace Bible College women’s basketball and track and field programs on Monday.
Libey helped lead Reed City’s turnaround in 2016, guiding the Coyotes to a Class B district title and an 11-12 finish after going 0-21 the year prior.
“Since I knew I wanted to go to Grace for basketball, I figured why not for track,” Libey said. “I contacted the coach for that too. I’m just looking forward to be able to continue playing basketball, and being able to meet my new team and coaches, and be able to get out on the floor again.”
A long jumper, Libey is excited to participate in both sports at Grace Bible.
She plans to study physical therapy.
