Malpass Signs With Lake Superior State
EAST JORDAN — Keegan Malpass signed her letter of intent to play tennis at Lake Superior State University on Tuesday, continuing a family legacy where both her father and her sister played tennis at LSSU.
“They always told me not to feel pressured to go there, and that I needed to make the choice for myself. And when I was looking at schools, I just really felt that it felt like home and that was where I needed to go,” Malpass said. “I’m really excited to get to know the team better that I’ve known since my sister was up there. And just to get to meet new people and continue the game that I love.”
A four-year varsity athlete, she was the All-Conference Singles Champion twice and Regional Singles Champion in 2017-2018. In addition, she qualified for states twice. Malpass joins a program that went 6-11 overall last year and finished ninth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
