Six TC West Athletes Taking Talents to College

TRAVERSE CITY – Six Traverse City West senior student-athletes signed their letters of intent to play collegiately on Wednesday.

Jacob Pawloski is taking his talents to NAIA Concordia University in Ann Arbor and will compete on the school’s football and track and field programs.

“It’s special,” Pawloski said. “It’s something most people aren’t able to do, and don’t have the opportunity to do, so definitely not going to take it for granted.”

Megan Jenkinson joins a Hope College women’s golf program that won three straight Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association championships from 2014-16.

“It means a lot because I get to make new friends, and college golf is a lot different than high school golf,” she said.
