NHL Prospect Tournament, Red Wings Training Camp Returns to Centre Ice

TRAVERSE CITY – The Red Wings announced the schedules for the 2018 NHL Prospect Tournament and Red Wings Training Camp Monday.

The NHL Prospect Tournament returns to Centre Ice Arena in Traverse City for its 20th season.

The tournament begins Friday, Sept. 7, running through Tuesday, Sept. 11.

Prospects will play from the following eight teams: Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, Carolina Hurricanes, Columbus Blue Jackets, Dallas Stars, Minnesota Wild, New York Rangers and St. Louis Blues.

The Red Wings Training Camp begins Friday, Sept. 14, running through Tuesday, Sept. 18.

Festivities kick off Thursday, Sept. 13, with the 20th Training Camp Golf Classic at the Grand Traverse Resort and Spa.

Proceeds from the outing benefit Involved Citizens Enterprises (I.C.E.), which is a non-profit organization that provides affordable skating programs to Northern Michigan.

Training Camp includes the annual Red and White Game on Sunday, Sept. 16 at noon, and the Training Camp Alumni and Celebrity Game on Saturday, Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
