By the Numbers
1 – Number of home victories recorded by Charlton Heston Academy. The Patriots hosted their first-ever home game last Friday and secured a 38-20 win over Atlanta.
5 – Touchdowns scored by Clare’s Brenden Sersaw in a 41-14 win over Beal City last Friday. The win was the third straight for the Pioneers over the Aggies.
17 – Consecutive losses Farwell had suffered prior to Friday’s 20-18 win over Coleman. Prior to Friday’s game, the Eagles had last recorded a victory in Week 1 of the 2016 season. That win also came over Coleman.
55 – First-half points scored by Posen in its 69-0 non-league win over Big Rapids Crossroads last Thursday.
62 – Points scored by Suttons Bay in a 62-0 non-conference win over Bear Lake last Friday.
182 – Onaway’s Dawson Hilliker posted 182 yards and four scores on the ground on just nine carries in a 40-28 victory over defending state champion Central Lake last Thursday.
268 – Engadine’s Andrew Blanchard rushed for 268 yards and six touchdowns in a 64-34 win over Powers North Central. Blanchard also threw for 138 yards and a score last Friday.
