Central Michigan Falls to Buffalo at Homecoming

MOUNT PLEASANT –  The Central Michigan University Chippewas offense couldn’t find much of a rhythm for a good part of the first half. For much of the second half, the Chippewas had to come back after trailing Buffalo 17-3 at halftime.

In a 34-24 loss Saturday at Central Michigan, the Bulls led by as many as 14 points with five minutes left in the third quarter before a 21-point response by CMU.

Central Michigan (1-5, 0-2) will play Ball State (2-4, 1-1) October 13 at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
