Mt. Pleasant native and current Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator Matt LaFleur will interview with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday for the organization’s head coaching position.

LaFleur, 39, is in his first season as the Titans’ offensive coordinator after serving as the offensive coordinator for the Los Angeles Rams in 2017.

Prior to joining the Rams, LaFleur spent two seasons with the Atlanta Falcons as the quarterbacks coach, reaching Super Bowl LI with the Falcons in 2017. LaFleur also spent time with Saginaw Valley State (2003), Central Michigan (2004-2005), Northern Michigan (2006), Ashland University (2007), Houston Texans (2008-2009), Washington Redskins (2010-2013) and Notre Dame (2014).

A 1998 Mt. Pleasant High School graduate, LaFleur played wide receiver at Western Michigan for one season before transferring to SVSU in 2000 and starring at quarterback on three NCAA Division II playoff teams and one Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championship squad.

After graduating from SVSU in 2003, LaFleur played briefly with the indoor football team’s Omaha Beef and Billings Outlaws.
