CMU Gymnastics Coach Placed on Paid Administrative Leave
MT. PLEASANT – The Central Michigan University athletic department announced Wednesday that women’s gymnastics head coach Jerry Reighard has been placed on paid administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
Associate head coach Christine MacDonald will take over the program during Reighard’s leave.
Reighard, who took over CMU’s program in 1984, is in his 34th season with the Chippewas and has led CMU to 16 Mid-American Conference team championships, eight MAC regular season titles and a 533-270-4 overall record entering the 2018-19 season.
