Coaches’ Profile: Chippewa Hills’ Larry Jose

REMUS – Chippewa Hills varsity football coach Larry Jose recently announced that he is stepping down after 21 seasons with the program.

Jose’s teams made 12 playoff appearances, including eight straight from 2011-18, and won a Division 4 district championship in 2015 – the program’s only postseason title. He served as an assistant with the program until taking over the head coaching reins in 1998.

The Warriors went 121-86 under Jose and recorded 15 seasons of .500 or better.
